Where/how did you find this vehicle
It was listed for sale in Menomonie, Ontario. It was actually in Menomonie, WI. Only about 50 miles away.
Any projects planned for this vehicle in the future?
I just have to put on the correct wheel covers and it will be as it came from the factory.
I have reupholstered the interior, re-built front and rear suspension to original specification, replaced the exhaust with a a factory exhaust system from Gardner exhaust. Replaced the tires with repo bias tires from Coker, replaced brake lines, reconditioned the rear axle, re-built the trans, and cleaned up the engine bay and engine oil leaks. It still retains most of the grease, oil, and undercoating from the firewall to the gas tank.
Has this vehicle won any awards?
I have never taken it to a show to be judged.Â

Just a different cam from Cam Dynamics a few years ago. Factory 702 heads with a CE block from 1970. Other than the block everything from Eaton Fan clutch to the bellhousing/from the oil pan to the air cleaner assembly is as it came from the Flint assembly plant.

My intent was to bring this back to as close as possible to how it came from the factory with NOS and original parts. Wish there were better AM radio stations around.
I bought my first new car in September of 1965. Sold in in 1968 after I recieved my draft notice. The car was a Regal Red Chevelle SS 396 with a 4sp, black and white interior, and bucket seats.
